Dewey Christmas 2009
To all our friends and family,
This year has flown by but not without its fair share of kicks and giggles. Let us tickle your fancy
with the adventures we've had this year. The Dewey family proudly presents, 2009!
Well, our greatest surprise and newest little joy, though a big and bouncy one, was born on October 3rd and Daddy named her Zelda. Oh she has been the greatest bundle of heaven. Just last week we found her opening the fridge, and with a smile that could have melted the hardest of butters, we could have sworn she said, "yoo-hoo". We were tickled pink! And Daddy downed a six-pack. RaVoe is now 18 months, and we still can't believe it! Her favorite things are Daddy's lap, making mommy go nutty nuts, and bedtime stories. (I'm now reading her, "Going Rogue.") Her favorite color is pink, and insists that her sister and her are wearing it EVERY day! We are working hard to help RaVoe go on the big potty, we've bought the fancy panties and all, but we're still struggling. (If any of you have any advice PLEASE do share, mommy really is going Loco!!!)
Despite the silliness that floods our trailer every day, we are not only surviving but loving life! Daddy still manages a 4.0 at the University of Brigham Young and will graduate this spring in Home and Family Living. Our summer was more than an adventure when we took the girls to Nephi for two whole days. Daddy taught them how to play the Nintendo DS on the road trip down, and mommy taught the family to fish. She hopes it will feed them for life. LOL.
Mommy stays busy with her daily cooking experiments. She gets more creative every day as she invents new recipes that include daddy's 3 favorite ingredients, Cheese, Chocolate, and Fries. Life just can't get much better!
Around this time of year we find ourselves thanking the Lord for the bounty of blessings that we enjoy. We're grateful for our family, for a black president, and for all of you. May you find peace and joy this holiday season!
With all the love we contain,
The Deweys
P.S. Stay tuned for 2010, because mommy will be baking with a new ingredient… BABY!
